The shared parts of the building, floor by floor. Everything on this page is included in the rent and open to every resident; a few services are booked through the concierge desk.
Fourth floor, gorge side
A twenty-metre pool runs along the gorge side of the fourth floor, with a shallow end for children and a whirlpool in the corner. Glass walls face the falls, and the room is kept at a warm temperature through the winter. Loungers stand along the window; towels are provided.
Fourth floor, beside the pool
Two saunas, one dry and one steam, open off a quiet room with daybeds and a view over the garden. Two treatment rooms are used by visiting therapists for massage and facials, booked a day ahead at the concierge desk. Robes and slippers are kept in each apartment.
Twenty-second floor
The roof of the tower is laid out as a garden with a lawn, planted borders and a covered bar that opens on summer evenings. It faces both falls directly, and residents gather there for the nightly illumination and for the fireworks in the summer season. A private section can be reserved for a dinner or a small party.
Fifth floor, city side
A fitness room with treadmills, bicycles, rowing machines and a free-weight corner, facing the river upstream. A separate studio next door is used for yoga and stretching classes three mornings a week and is otherwise free for residents to use.
Ground floor and lower level
The concierge desk in the lobby is staffed from seven in the morning until eleven at night and handles parcels, restaurant reservations, taxis and tickets for the boat tours and the theatre. A small library with newspapers and a coffee machine sits beside the desk.
Opening hours are reduced during maintenance weeks in early spring and late autumn. The concierge desk posts the dates a month in advance and can be reached at any time on the house telephone.
