Skyline Suite

Floors 6 to 11, city side

The Skyline Suite is the smallest apartment in the tower and the most common, with twenty-four of them spread over six floors.

The apartment

A single bedroom with a queen bed, a bathroom with a walk-in shower, and a living room that runs the width of the apartment. The kitchen is a galley along one wall, with an induction hob, an oven and a dishwasher. A desk stands in the window corner, and a wardrobe fills the wall behind the bedroom door.

The view

Windows face north-west over the town and the river upstream of the falls. The mist column is visible from the corner of the living room; the falls themselves are not.

The apartment

Two bedrooms, the larger with its own bathroom, and a second bathroom off the hall. The living room is long and narrow with a dining table at the window end. The kitchen is a separate room with a breakfast bar, a full-size fridge and a washer-dryer in a cupboard. A store room by the door takes skis, bicycles or a pram.

The view

All windows face south-east across the gorge. The Horseshoe Falls stand in the centre of the view; the American Falls are visible to the left from the second bedroom.

Horseshoe Penthouse

Floors 20 to 22, one apartment per floor

Three penthouses take the top of the tower, one to a floor, each with a terrace that wraps two sides of the building.

The apartment

Three bedrooms, each with its own bathroom, and a study with a door that closes. The living room, dining room and kitchen are one open space along the gorge side, with a fireplace at the far end. The kitchen has a range cooker, a wine fridge and a pantry. The terrace holds a dining table for eight and a pair of loungers, and is heated in the shoulder seasons.

The view

Both falls, the gorge downstream and the skyline of the American side. The terrace faces the illumination of the falls directly.

Garden Apartment, the patio.

Garden Apartment

Floors 2 and 3, garden side

Eight apartments on the lowest residential floors open onto a walled garden at the back of the building, away from the boulevard.

The apartment

Two bedrooms and two bathrooms, arranged like the Gorge Residence but with the living room opening through glass doors onto a private patio. The second-floor apartments have patios at garden level; those on the third floor have a balcony over the garden. Dogs are welcome here and only here in the building.

The view

The garden, the trees along the boulevard and, from the third floor, the mist of the falls above the rooftops. These apartments are chosen for quiet rather than for the view.
